So beautiful and thoughtful. The colors are so deep and the pictures are SO sweet. I absolutely love this baby book. It has just the right amount of pages, and I especially love the family tree pages. It has a little pocket in the back of the book where you can slide a copy of your birth announcement or baby's arm band. I think this book is perfect for sentimentals like me!This baby book asks some important questions as well as some unimportant but cute little details. It doesn't go waaaay overboard like some books, expecting you to document each and every meal that someone cooked for you while you were on maternity leave. It also doesn't ask dumb questions or leave space for 10 million photos. It has a few places for photos, but doesn't set out to be a photo album. I think its the perfect mix of documentation, sentimentality, and photo memory making. All in all, I would highly recommend this book. It's perfect for my baby!
I had another Peter Rabbit themed book one for my 1st child and wanted something similar for my second so this was my only choice online. It isn't as detailed as the the other version. This is more simple and less information "required" to fill in. This isn't a vibrant and excessively cute book like others that you can find, but I was expecting that when I purchased it since the Peter Rabbit character isn't like that. I find it ok.
I had an earlier edition of this book for our first daughter, so I was pleased to find this one for our second daughter. I love the charming, timeless illustrations. It includes pages for all of the important things a baby book should. The back pocket is a nice place to put cards, hospital bracelets, etc.
The pages have plenty of space, and the graphics are really nice without being too cheesy. There are some spaces for photos, but not overwhelmingly so. I didn’t want just another photo book. There is plenty of room to write interesting data as well as lots of memories. Since my husband has a Peter Rabbit baby book back in 1981, it’s great to carry on the tradition with our baby’s baby book!
This is the most beautiful baby book I have ever seen. I was nervous about ordering a baby book without seeing it first, and my hopes and expectations have been exceeded! I'm a photographer, and definitely plan on supplementing this book with more pages, but it is ABSOLUTELY perfect. I'm an emotional mess from the pregnancy hormones, but looking through the pages at the memories I'll be writing down for my first baby coupled with beautiful Potter characters I loved as a child brought me to tears! Love it!
Excellent book. It has plenty of good areas to fill out. Babys firsts, family tree, doc appts/progress checks, one paragraph area for each month up to one year old. Several areas for pictures, ultrasounds, hand/foot prints. And a pocket at the back for hospital bracelets, hospital cardo etc. The pages are large.
I loved finding this Peter Rabbit first year baby book. It is filled with pages with well thought out prompts for you to fill in for your baby's first year. I also love the original Peter Rabbit illustrations through out- I am so happy to have it to record all the first year details!
This seems like a very nice baby book, but it's just so huge. I should have looked at the dimensions. It is 11 inches tall and literally does not fit on the shelf with our other baby books from our previous children. It has a puffy cover and seems nice, but is just much too large for us. Very disappointed.
I love it! I frequently return to it and update information on my little one. The pages are cute with original Peter Rabbit illustrations. Plus, it asks all of the questions your little one would want to know when he / she grows up, with ample space for pictures, scans - even for footprints and hand prints. I also like that at the back of the book, there is a pocket for any additional items that you would like to keep for the baby. There is even a page where you could list all of the gifts you got and from whom.
