I bought this book to read for fun. It's a bit dry (as it's an academic book, not targeted to a general audience) but plenty readable (it's not rocket science). Lots of interviews with industry professionals on topics from fabric sourcing to trend forecasting agencies to influencers. Nothing in it was like, life-changingly insightful, but it was a good informational read. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in how fashion cycles work.
