these Kaplan questions are fine, but I think the best NCLEX review is not a book. Do Uworld questions instead. It's $80 for a month I think. I did the timed tutor mode. 2000 questions, It mimics the NCLEX pretty much exactly. Prioritization questions are the standard questions asked, they are annoying but they were about half of the questions I got on the real NCLEX. Do the 2000 questions and review each question as you go, and you will do just fine. $80, Uworld, do it, pass, RN lisence, Good luck ðŸ‘
Didn't want to spend $500 on the full Kaplan course but I've heard good things about Kaplan so I decided to give this a try. I loved it! Ended up being my primary study method, and I passed in 75 questions on my first try. The questions were pretty similar to the actual NCLEX and I think the rationales were definitely helpful.
I waited until I received the results of my boards, which I passed. This book is excellent, it sums up and explains how to read and answer NCLEX style questions. I didn't have the $400 to spend on the Kaplan course but this books is a very good outline of their review seminar. All I used to study was this book and I passed my NCLEX with the minimum number of questions. I would recommend this book to anyone who has to test. It has all kinds of helpful hints and questions, along with online resources!!
This is the only book I used to study for my NCLEX. I passed!!!! And I only had 95 questions.
I just passed my NCLEX RN and this book did NOT help me at all. LIPPINCOTT Q&A is wayyy better! Don't waste your money.
This book was so very helpful in preparing me for the NCLEX, especially chapter 3, which helped me to be able to break down test questions. I highly recommend this book to all my fellow RN students.
So Im studying for NCLEX and I see that front cover states 2 practice test and videos included online. I put in the the required information and it says online courses have been discontinued. How and why is it discontinued Its still 2018. I had previously purchased the NCLEX RN strategies and practice review and completed it but wanted to use the online tutorials which is the reason for buying the NCLEX- RN prep 2018. I have say that it is a scam. Im very disappointed because I used a similar kaplan book for my LVN NCLEX and found the online tutorials that were included with book purchase to be very beneficial. If you just want to use the resources and tools in the the book this is a good product, but if you want online benefits then you'll have to spend over 200 dollars to get practice tests, Q-bank, and online tutorials.
Great prep. Great questions. Does need better editing. Some of the answer rationales really need to be looked at. States a different number at the top, but if you read the rationale, the number is different. Still recommend Kaplan products. The decision tree is worth it's weight in gold.
